The Program
The WV Tobacco Quitline is available to uninsured West Virginians, as well as those with Medicaid, Medicare or Private Insurance.
Participants who complete the program will engage in a minimum of four calls with a certified treatment tobacco specialist to assist in the quitting process, and will receive up to four shipments of nicotine replacement therapy.
Participants have 4 calls with a coach to assist the quitting process, and unlimited reactive coaching calls.
Receive an eight-week supply of nicotine patches, lozenges, or gum (delivered in 4 shipments).
Pregnant women and those under 18 may participate with physician approval.
Calls are confidential and based on each caller’s needs.
Services are available for users of cigarettes, snuff, vapes, and all other nicotine delivery products.
